A one-vehicle accident in rural Sherman County claimed the life of a 28-year-old Spearman woman and sent a 38-year-old Spearman man and a 1-year-old child to Moore County Hospital. The wreck took place at 1:39 a.m. on Monday, June 3 about nine miles east of Stratford.

According to a report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a large, black bull standing in the roadway was the cause of the accident.
