Bobby Kenneth Clifton, 86, of Dumas, died peacefully with his family around him on Tuesday afternoon October 13, 2020.

He was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Samuel Morgan Clifton and Verna Belle Edgington on September 15, 1934.

When Bob was 19, he met and later married Helen, and he spent the next 66 years by her side.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Helen Stevens and grandson, John Kenneth Clifton.  He is survived by his son, Gary Wade Clifton and wife, Jayne of Crosby; son, Bary Clifton and partner Bob McCormick of Pompano Beach, Florida; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Jerry Clifton and Lyn Clifton of Pittsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 700 E. 1st St., Dumas at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020 under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. In lieu of the usual remembrances the family asks for contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Dumas or The Crosby Fair and Rodeo Scholarship Fund where he was a lifetime member.

 The family requests that all who attend the service on Monday please wear masks for the safety of everyone.
