Jimmy Ray Henry, 64, of Stafford,  went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 29, 2021. Funeral Services were scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Brown Memorial Cemetery in Sunray. Arrangements were under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Jimmy was born on April 10, 1957 in Dumas to Jim and Julia (Wooten) Henry. He graduated from Dumas High School then went on to attend Amarillo College. He married Sharon R. Felder on Sept. 2, 1983 in Dumas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Gussie Henry of Ft Worth, and Ray and Melba Wooten of Dumas; and grandson: Daniel Cobb II of Amarillo.

Jimmy is survived by his parents; Julia M. Wooten and Jim A. Henry both of Amarillo; his wife, Sharon of Stafford; daughters: Ashlan Gipson, Megan Cobb and husband Daniel all of Amarillo; sons: Jimmy Ray Henry II of Stafford,  Anthony Henry and wife Valerie of Moore, OK, Matthew Henry and wife Somer of Amarillo; “adopted” daughter: Crystal Ivey of Amarillo; sisters: Sherri Henry and Cynthia Blake both of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
