John Edward (Ed) Moore, 95, of Stratford, TX, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at First United Methodist Church in Stratford with internment following at the Boise City, OK Cemetery.

Ed was born in Ramah, CO, on June 6, 1926, to George T. and Eva A (Kendall) Moore.   Ed married the love of his life, Edith Margie Bauer, on July 27, 1950 in Boise City, OK.  They were married for 65 years before she passed away on January 1, 2016.  

Ed was preceded in death by his wife Marge; sons: Robert Eugene, William Clifford (Bill), and Bruce Edward; brothers: Cledys, Thelmer, Kirk, Delbert, and Ronnie; sisters: Georgie, June, and Lucille; daughter-in-law: Toby Moore; son-in-law: Fred Potter; and grandson: Trenton Fred Potter.

  He is survived by his son: Roger Moore and wife Marjeanne of Amarillo; his daughter: Beth Potter of Gainesville; sister: Verna Bell Huscher of Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
