Sam “Sammy” Ramos, 58, of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021. A Memorial Service took place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Fobbs, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Sammy was born on Dec. 29, 1962, in Dumas to Ben and Maggie (Cargill) Ramos.

He was preceded in death by his father; uncle: Olen Cargill; and grandmother: Faye Cargill.

Sammy is survived by his wife, Belynda Jolly, of the home; children: Mallory Ramos and husband Abel of Grand Prairie, Channing Ramos and wife Astrid of Irving, Bryan Ramos of Littleton, CO, Ana Ramos of Abilene; stepchildren: Cody Jolly and wife Heather of Dumas,  Koree Castillo and husband Ric of Dumas, Karlee Jolly of Dumas; mother: Maggie Ramos of Dumas; sisters: Jackie Belk and husband John of Dumas, Kristina Prothero and husband Robert of Amarillo, Toni Johnson and husband Richard of Amarillo; daughter-in-law: Carrie Saiz and husband Fernando of Lubbock; son-in-law: Chris Jolly and wife Jessica of Bella Vista, AR; 10 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and other extended family members.
