In recent softball action for the Dumas Demonettes, six combine for seven doubles and four home runs in a commanding victory over the Rangerettes of Perryton.

Kimberly Morales had six strikeouts and allowed one hit and a run.

Justine DeLaCruz, Yasmin Martinez, Itzel Escarcega each had a double in the game. Hopey Cortes and Sinai Gutierrez each had two doubles for the Demonettes.

Gutierrez hit a homer, while Destiny Saldivar had three trips around the bases.

The Demonettes scored 32 runs and allowed only one from the Rangerettes. The final was 32-1.

The JV squad also had great success against the Rangerettes. They defeated Perryton 20-0.

Next up for the Demonettes is a home contest with the Borger Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday, March 19, at 4:30 p.m., while the JV team travels to Borger on Monday, March 18, at 4:30 p.m.
