In an unfortunate thrilling double overtime loss to Dalhart on Jan. 17, the Demons were looking to hand the Wolves a loss on their home court on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Unfortunately, the second matchup didn't pan out the way as was expected as they fell 72-70 in another two-point overtime loss.

The teams kept it close as Dumas led after two quarters of play 26-23, and forced another overtime after the final buzzer. The Demons shot well with 50 percent from the floor, 7-of-12 three-pointers, and they made 72 percent of their free throws.

Three Demons reached double digits in the loss. Aiden Venzor scored 30 points on the night for the Demons, while Kyle Stroebel had 12 and Devyn Hutcherson put up 10.

The boys will host Pampa and Perryton on Feb. 11 and 14, respectively. They finish up on the road at Borger on Feb. 18. The boys playoff action is set to begin on Feb. 24-25 with the bi-district round.
