It was the final home game of the regular season for the Dumas Demonettes on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The Demonettes hosted the Lady Harvesters from Pampa on senior night. Not only did the varsity team get a win, the JV and freshman squads were also victorious.

The first two sets for the varsity team were very close, but Dumas came out with a 25-20, 25-22 win in those two sets. The Demonettes struggled some in the third set and ultimately fell 15-25, but rebounded in the final set. They took a commanding lead and won 25-10 to defeat the Lady Harvesters 3-1.

Stat leaders for the Demonettes are as follows:

Brenley Rodriguez – nine kills, 12 blocks

Brooklyn Sianez – nine kills,

Niki Kent – nine kills, 8.5 blocks

Sydnee Wackler – 19 assists

Francine Hernandez – 16 assists

Jadan Price – 35 digs

Aneesa Elizondo – 15 digs

The JV squad took two sets 25-8 and 25-14 to get the win over Pampa, while the freshman team also handed Pampa a loss by going 25-12, 25-10 in two sets.

The varsity Demonettes finish the regular season 21-18 and 7-1 in district play.

The varsity squad will travel to Stinnett on Saturday, Nov. 2, for a repeat matchup with the Lady Harvesters to determine seeding in the playoffs.
