This week, Aug. 6-8, the Dumas High School cheerleaders are hosting a mini-cheer camp at the Demon Dome.

The camp is for those who will be starting Kindergarten through sixth grades.

Coached by Delores Arenas and Patricia Sheldon, the high school cheerleaders will be instructing the young attendees proper form and technique, various chants and routines and dancing.

This is one of the last camps for the summer before school begins on Wednesday, Aug. 14. A football camp for incoming seventh- and eighth-graders will be held Aug. 7-9.
