Dallan Dill has been recognized by Press Pass Sports for an All-Press Pass Sports Superlative award as Defensive Player of the Year.
Dill, at 5 foot 11 inches, is a senior linebacker who has had a stellar career with the Dumas Demons. He has started three years and has helped the defense on tackles and sacks, and assisted the football team to a 32-6 record over the past three years. The Demons also won three district championships in a row with the help of the defense and made it to the 4A Division I state quarterfinals in 2019.
According to information from Press Pass Sports, dill is a three-time all-district honoree and two-time district defensive player of the year.
During his senior year, Dill generated five fumbles and had 100 tackles. He ended his high school football career with 303 tackles, 49 tackles for losses, and tallied 10.5 sacks.

Dallan worked extremely hard to master his craft on the field and became a real student of the game in his preparation and ability to check defenses within our defensive scheme. Dallan’s investment and sacrifices the last 4 years has definitely paved the way and established a standard for future athletes in Dumas, Texas.”
