On Saturday, Nov. 2, the Dumas Youth Wrestling Club participated in the first wrestling tournament of the season, which was hosted by the Maverick Elite Wrestling Club of Amarillo.

The Maverick Elite Invitational was a rookie and open wrestling tournament held at the Carter Fitness Center on the campus of Amarillo College. The club entered 33 wrestlers and placed 24 in the top four.
