The Dumas Junior High School Demonettes hosted Westover on Monday, Oct. 5. The eighth grade A and B teams had difficulty in the first set, but came back a little stronger in the second set. Unfortunately, both teams fell, going 0-2.

The seventh grade A team came out on top in a close matchup in the first set by going 25-22. The second set go away from them as they fell 12-25. They came back in the third set, but fell just short 22-25. The B team went 2-1, defeating Westover by going 11-25, 25-14, 15-13.

The eighth grade A team falls to 2-4, going 15-25, 24-26, in the matchup with Westover.
